Shark Attack!
Sharks are a type of fish. They come in different shapes and sizes. The goblin shark lives in deep water. It has a long horn like snout. The black-tip reef shark is a small species of shark, growing to only a little more then a yard. On the rim of its fins, it's black and that's how it got its name. It has sharp teeth for catching prey. No human attacks have been recorded by this shark. The tiger shark eats anything that it can get in its mouth. Once one ate a type of drum called a tom-tom! It also has sharp teeth, and can swim very fast. The whale shark can can grow up to 40 feet long! Surprisingly, compared to its size the whale shark eats small animals such as plankton (shrimp-like animals). Most of these species are endangered, and many other sharks are too. With our help they won't go away.
