Somewhere in the desert a monster is lurking near. Look out! Then a Gila monster jumps up. Some people say that this reptile won't let go of you till the sun goes down. But this is not true. They are one of the two venomous lizards in the world. They typically live in California. They are the biggest lizards in North America. It's very rare to see a Gila monster on the prowl. They are seriously threatened and close to being gone.
