Tropical Animals

Most tropical animals live near the equator. The animals that I'm going to talk about are mostly in South America. The python is a huge type of snake. This snake eats by constricting its prey so it can't breath; then it eats it. Jaguars are one of the top predators with the python. These cats "love" to climb trees; in fact it will look for prey in the tree tops. Caimans also live there in the Amazon river. They are like alligators though they have a few things that are not the same about these two. Since Monday is St. Patrick's day here's a "green" fact about the rain forest, it has lots of wet plants, which makes it look fresh. I want you to try and stop people that harm these special forests.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
